Befrienders
Bereavement Group
Bereavement care is felt to be an important part of the service we offer to families and carers.
A drop in coffee morning group is held twice monthly at Backford, Lea and Mollington village hall and is a pleasant, relaxed environment for people to meet, talk and share friendship.
Occasional outings and social events are organised by the group's participants.
A team of befrienders are available to talk individually with people and may visit relatives at home in the first year following a bereavement.
All our befrienders are trained volunteers who are supervised by our counsellor Kareen Feyrer.
